RAA CRNA Spotlight

CRNA Patrick Nugent was born and raised in Wisconsin. It was his passion for challenge and education that led him to pursue anesthesia as a career. Upon graduating from Midwestern University, he joined RAA and began working at Ridgecrest Regional Hospital along with a few friends from his class. Patrick’s favorite part of his job is the autonomy – he enjoys being able to make decisions on how to deliver the best care to his patients. Outside of the hospital, Patrick enjoys hiking, tennis, golf, and finance. Patrick – RAA thanks you for your continuous hard work and dedication!

Mark Hunter CRNA has been an integral part of our RAA team since the doors opened in 2016. Born in Westchester, New York, it was his love for pharmacology that led him to choose anesthesia as his career path at California State Long Beach. When asked about his favorite part of the job, Mark says, “I love the people I work with everyday in the operating rooms”. When he isn’t working at Kern Medical Hospital, Mark likes to swim, spend time at the beach, and explore new restaurants. RAA is proud to have you on the team for the past 6 years – thank you, Mark!
